just plastic.CDs have millions of pits.Light reflects or doesn't reflects and a CD have 700 mega
bits.lazer shines of the bit and see a bump.There are 5 billon pits or bumps on a CD.
There is a printed surface card inside a CD Rom and tray to move the volume.
Lazer stay inside and reads the disk while spinning.
A CD woks by the lazer reflecting the pits and reads it.
