MY BUSINESS
My business is photography. I will need a nice digital camera, a good computer that has Photoshop or other programs, TTC bus pass, and my business is a home based business.
Registering your business name:
You can name your business anything you want but first you have to make sure that no one is using that name or then you should go to the Via website, pay for the rigistration and rigister your name.
Taxes:
Businesses should pay taxes on their income both on federal and provincial government. They will calculate your income on your profit. Your profit- your gross income - your lawfull expenses which includes the cost of:

Rent of your office or other places.
Cost of buying or selling goods.
Delivery or transportation.
Fees for licences and permits.
Business travel.
Business advertising.
Business entertainment.
Business records:
This is always better to keep all of your records and books organized and the law says that you have to keep them for six years.
Licences:
You have to have a licences of the location or the licences of what are you doing and this includes the an operation permit.
Zoning:
Certain businesses has certain places to be there. They tel you to go and buy that place for your business.
Insurance:
Bacically insurance is a safty that you would like to have for your property, business interputation, person and disability insurance.
Renting (or buying) premises:
You will have to buy or rent a place for the kind of place that you are looking for, a place tha thas security, availability of parking and other nessesary things.
Business communications:
You will always need communication tools in one way or other. You might a computer a laptop, word processing, accounting and other useful tools.
Hiring employees:
You will have to hire employees at some point if not in the beginning then you have to hire when your business grows.
